The Kona Bicycle Company is looking to add to the Kona family with the addition of a Shipping and Inventory Coordinator at our North Vancouver office. Ideal applicants will have a strong connection to cycling, exhibit a high level of attention to detail, and be unafraid to get their hands dirty.
Location: North Vancouver, British Columbia (In office)
Duration: Part Time initially, Year-Round
Compensation: Determined by experience and qualifications
Specific Duties:
The Shipping and Inventory Coordinator plays a key role in the company that includes the following responsibilities:
Shipping
- Supporting the sales team by packing and shipping small parts orders
- Coordinating bicycle shipments with our carriers promptly
- Maintaining relationships with shipping and logistics partners
Inventory
- Maintaining inventory accuracy within the warehouse including parts storage, inventory counts, and product SKU labelling
Other
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and work area
Qualifications:
- High School or Post Secondary education
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Attention to detail, ability to multitask, excellent time management, and to work with tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently, self-starter, sound judgment
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
- DG (Dangerous Goods) Shipping Certification (To be completed once hired)
- A strong passion for cycling and the outdoors
- Experience with bicycle mechanics including E-Bikes
- Ability to make a mean pot of coffee
